This role combines expert Salesforce engineering with hands-on APEX and C# development, contributing directly to mission‑critical business systems.
Role Overview
As a Senior Salesforce Developer (Contract), you will architect and implement Salesforce applications, integrations, and automations leveraging APEX, Lightning Web Components, and C#. Your role will also involve Azure DevOps pipelines and Azure cloud integrations.
This position follows a hybrid model requiring 2 onsite days every other week.
What You’ll Do
Design and develop APEX classes, triggers, test classes, and Lightning Web Components.
Build and optimize Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and C# services.
Implement secure, scalable components following Salesforce best practices.
Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Lead integration patterns using Azure services and Azure cloud components.
Work with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering standards.
Create and maintain technical documentation.
Support and troubleshoot complex issues across the Salesforce ecosystem.
What You Bring
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
Strong proficiency in APEX, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
Experience developing backend services using C# (.NET).
Deep understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits.
Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps.
Experience with Azure cloud services and integration patterns.
Strong understanding of OOP and software architecture patterns.
Experience with Git-based workflows.
Preferred Qualifications ( Nice to Have)
Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.
Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder certification.
Experience with Salesforce integration patterns (Platform Events, Change Data Capture, External Services, Named Credentials).
Experience building scalable components using Salesforce Flows, Flow Orchestrator, and declarative automations.
Familiarity with Salesforce architectural frameworks, including LDS, LDS Wire Adapters, and Apex Enterprise Patterns.
