Manual QA Analyst
About the Opportunity
Squadric is seeking a Manual QA Analyst to support one of our leading North American clients. In this role, you’ll be embedded in an Agile delivery team, collaborating with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure the highest quality of digital products. You’ll design and execute test cases, identify issues early in the development cycle, and help drive improvements in QA practices and processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented QA professional who thrives in a Scrum environment and has strong experience using Azure DevOps for test management.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with product owners and developers during Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
Analyze requirements and acceptance criteria to design effective test cases.
Execute functional, regression, and smoke tests across web and mobile applications.
Document and manage test cases, execution, and defects in Azure DevOps.
Track and communicate defects clearly to developers and stakeholders.
Support release readiness through validation of bug fixes and regression testing.
Contribute to improving QA practices, processes, and test coverage.
What We’re Looking For
3–5 years of experience in manual software testing in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Strong background in writing and executing test cases, test plans, and scripts.
Hands-on experience with smoke, regression, and exploratory testing.
Proficiency with Azure DevOps (ADO) for test management and defect tracking.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical ability.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Exposure to test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Basic SQL experience to validate backend services and data.
